VeriWav Privacy Policy
Effective August 16, 2026
VeriWav is designed to edit audio locally on your Mac. Vertolini does not receive the audio files you open, record, edit, or export in VeriWav.
Your audio and files
Audio processing happens on your Mac. VeriWav does not upload your audio, metadata, artwork, file names, or file contents to Vertolini or to a VeriWav cloud service. There is no VeriWav account.
VeriWav is sandboxed. You grant access to files and folders through standard macOS file panels or by dragging files into the app. Autosave and crash-recovery data remain on your Mac.
Microphone access
If you choose to record audio, macOS asks for microphone permission. Recorded audio is stored and processed locally. You can change microphone access at any time in System Settings under Privacy & Security.
Purchases
Purchases and restoration are handled by Apple through the App Store. VeriWav uses StoreKit to determine whether VeriWav Pro is unlocked. Vertolini does not receive or store your payment information.
Data collection
The current version of VeriWav does not collect analytics, advertising data, crash reports, identifiers, or personal information. The app makes no advertising or tracking requests.
Third parties
Apple may process App Store, purchase, and diagnostic information according to Apple’s own policies and the choices configured on your Mac and Apple Account.
Changes to this policy
If VeriWav’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed version is distributed.
