How can we help?

For a problem that is not answered below, email support@vertolini.com. Include your macOS version, VeriWav version, audio format, and what you expected to happen. Please do not attach private audio unless we specifically ask for a small sample and you are comfortable sharing it.

VeriWav cannot access the microphone

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and enable VeriWav. Return to VeriWav, choose Record Audio, select an input device, and try again.

An export format is locked

The free edition exports unwatermarked 16-bit PCM WAV at the source sample rate and channels. Other formats and advanced quality controls require VeriWav Pro.

Restore VeriWav Pro

Open VeriWav → Settings, choose View Pro, then Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. Family members must have purchase sharing configured through Apple.

Editing is nondestructive to the original file

Changes happen in VeriWav’s working document. Export writes a new file through the standard macOS save panel. Keep the original until you have listened to and verified the exported result.

Supported formats

VeriWav opens WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC/M4A, FLAC, and CAF. VeriWav Pro exports those formats with format-appropriate quality controls.
